Number Two: Safety & Security

February 2020

This is a sensitive subject and I would hate to offend anyone.

However, as I write this there are dozens of Brits confined to their hotel rooms in Tenerife. More have only just been released from a cruise ship in Japan. Milan looks like it is closed for business.

Travel is inherently risky. Riskier than staying on these shores. ANd these are difficult times.

Any problems that happen overseas are more problematic than those that happen in the UK. Any injury or illness and the first thing people want to do is get back to the UK.

I'm not suggesting for a moment that people should not travel.

It's just that from a corporate point of view most big brands are risk-averse when it comes to their reputation. And problems on an overseas trip are harder to deal with.

There are language and cultural differences. We may not be aware of local laws and customs. Any issues are disproportionately problematic, expensive and harder to budget for.

There are so many amazing things to do in this country why take the risk, and damage the environment, by jumping on a plane at this time?

We can help you look closely at your event and incentive/reward & recognition programmes to see what your objectives are and how they can be fulfilled in the UK.

Take up our challenge - tell us your plans and we will create a programme or event in the UK that will achieve your objectives and blow your mind away. #staycentive
